Yes, absolutely. We use Microsoft Azure, one of the world’s leading secure & certified cloud platforms. There are three parts that we’ve completely locked down in terms of security.
Only authorized users have access
First, every FastFinder has a unique user login. This ensures nobody else can access your data, comparable to how you manage your private email. If you pick a secure password and keep it safe from others, nobody can log in to your laboratory.
SSL encryption the entire way
Secondly, the data that’s processed in the cloud is transported through an SSL-encrypted connection to our application.
SSL allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Normally, data sent between browsers and web servers is sent in plain text—leaving you vulnerable to eavesdropping. If an attacker is able to intercept all data being sent between a browser and a web server, they can see and use that information.
SSL secures millions of people’s data on the Internet every day, especially during online transactions or when transmitting confidential information such as doing bank transactions.
Secure cloud environment
Lastly, the data is processed on a hyper-secure server inside Microsoft’s certified datacenter. These servers are the foundation of millions of online applications you, banks, internet companies, governments & hospitals trust every day. In addition, Microsoft’s datacenters are particularly well fit for several compliance requirements.
