You might want to inactive or (re)activate assays. For instance for quality purposes or to ensure that two different versions of the same assay plugin do not obstruct automatic plate assignment.
Activating or Inactivating an assay can only be done for assays that were initiated by your platform manager. To find out who your platform manager is, contact your dedicated support team, this can be found in the help section of FastFinder.
How to (in)activate an assay:
- Click the EDIT ICON (pencil) next to the General assay information
- Click INACTIVATE
- Click SAVE
- Inactivated assays will be grayed out but not removed and can always be reactivated by the user
- Inactive assays will no longer be available during the plate setup
