Release Notes FastFinder Genotyper V1.9 - May 2022
Analyze module
- The PCR plate view has been updated
- tooling on PCR plates has been made available (select sample, region, row, column, quadrant, select all, deselect all)
- It is now possible to perform batch actions on selected PCR plates by selecting the PCR plates and going to the Actions menu in the right upper corner
- If there are multiple readers used for the same assay in an assay-order, the combined history will be shown when all plates are selected*
- It is possible to flag an assay immediately in the assay-order view
- It is indicated under the graph which read was selected by the algorithm
Assay module
- It is possible to perform batch actions on assays
- History grid building on/off in batch
- flag all/unmark all
- unlock all readers
- In the assay menu, the history grid editing tool has been improved
- It is possible to edit or delete your own assay comment
User Roles
User roles have been introduced in Genotyper V1.9.
To adjust a user's role, please contact support@ugentec.com
- Regular user/no role: this user can import orders, edit orders, but not submit an order.
This user can also not change settings, can not edit history grids (can view) - Authorizer: this user can import orders, edit orders, submit orders.
This user can not change settings, but can edit history grids. - Admin: this user can do everything
Insights
The platform has been made ready for embedded user dashboards.

*The logic behind this is the following:
- 1 plate selected
- History is available for this reader -> History will be shown
- History is NOT available for this reader -> History will NOT be shown
- Multiple plates selected
- One reader available for selection
- History is available for this reader -> History will be shown
- History is NOT available for this reader -> History will NOT be shown
- Multiple readers available for selection
- History is available for any of the readers -> History will be shown for readers that have history
- History is NOT available for any of the readers -> History will NOT be shown
- One reader available for selection
By this new logic, it was no longer required to have a 'fallback mechanism' in the settings, therefore this option was removed
