With the advent of FastFinder Analysis 4.0, UgenTec’s flagship platform takes a major leap forward in supporting routine diagnostic labs that process samples at very high throughput. This release brings a thorough overhaul of its user interface, deployment model, back-end infrastructure to support ultra high throughput labs, allow for a modern, user-friendly UX/UI with information-rich and interactive visualisation components, and painless deployment and user activation with a fully browser-based interface.
FastFinder Analysis 4.0 is released as a web-based SaaS application to support labs that do high volume testing for qualitative real time and end point PCR analyses. FastFinder Lab management 1.0 is the backbone repository application released with it for centralized assay, instrument and user management, as well as managing historic analyses and LIMS exports.

New features
A clinical-grade high-throughput molecular diagnostics data management platform requires robust, scalable component to function as the backbone for storage of raw data, configuration settings, information about assays, workflows, and instrumentation, and provide a flexible data archive that supports audit trails, access control, queries and visualisation, QC analysis, and lab business intelligence dashboarding. To this end, UgenTec created a foundational component - Lab management 1.0.0, which centralizes assays, manages instruments and user data, provides a data archive repository, stores audit logs and facilitates LIMS exports for integration and connectivity.
A central component to see what is going on in the lab and get an operational overview is provided via a Dashboard that includes analyses that are ready for review, analyses that were recently authorized and other logs that may require the user’s attention (for example, errors occurring when uploading a file).
With Lab Management, you can manage Assays by setting defaults and other assay settings to facilitate automation (e.g. plate setup, status), and consult assay regulatory information.
Moreover, this component allows for a comprehensive overview of Instruments that were used for PCR reading, and shows relevant details to trace where samples were processed.
Importantly, Lab Management features a centralized Archive that serves as the lab’s data repository and includes a target search where results of all authorized analyses are visualized, and where CSV exports which can be picked up by the LIMS can be retrieved. In case you’re interested to enable this for your lab, please contact support for the specifications of the CSV export file format.
