PDF exports can be created manually or automatically from authorised runfiles. The configuration set at the creation of the PDF export will be taken into account. Changes to the configuration will only apply to newly created PDF exports.
A user with the admin role can access the settings menu and apply changes to the PDF settings and configuration.
Settings
By default, automatic PDF export creations are disabled. Most labs only create a PDF export manually for specific runfiles (eg validation experiments) and don't want automated PDF exports to be created in the 'export' container where most LIMS providers pick up the CSV export.
In case you do want to enable the automatic PDF export creation, you can do this by toggling this feature on.
Be aware that these PDFs (an Analysis results PDF automatically generate for every authorized analysis) will be made available in the 'export' container. Make sure your download script can handle this correctly.
Configuration
The fields define the contents of the Analysis results PDF export. Specific result sections and/or all results can be enabled. Also whether or not graphs are shown in the Analysis results PDF export is configurable, as are the chart scale (linear or logarithmic) and chart type for each acquisition type (amplification (baseline corrected or amplification), endpoint (normalized or raw) or melt (melt peak or melt curve) analyses).
