PDF exports can be created manually or automatically from authorised runfiles. The configuration set at the creation of the PDF export will be taken into account. Changes to the configuration will only apply to newly created PDF exports.
A user with the admin role can access the settings menu and apply changes to the PDF settings and configuration.
By default, the automatic creation of PDF exports is disabled. Most laboratories only require a PDF export for specific runfiles (e.g. validation experiments) which can be generated manually and do not need automated PDF exports to be created in the 'export/outbox' container, where most LIMS providers pick up the CSV export.
To enable the automatic PDF export creation, this feature can be toggled on in the settings here.
Be aware that these PDF files (i.e. an Analysis results PDF file automatically generated for every authorized analysis) will be made available in the 'export/outbox' container. Make sure your download script can handle this correctly.
Here, the content of the Analysis results PDF export file can be defined and customized. Specific result sections and/or all results can be added to the report. Furthermore, the visualisation of graphs in the PDF export can be configured, as is the chart scale (linear or logarithmic) and chart type for each acquisition type (amplification (baseline corrected or amplification), endpoint (normalized or raw) or melt (melt peak or melt curve) analyses).
