Many customers ask how to integrate FastFinder with their LIMS (laboratory information management system). As there are many LIMS systems on the market, FastFinder developed a generic CSV export that customers can adjust to their preferences.
Columns can be enabled, disabled or replaced.
Please take a look at the Settings - Analysis results CSV page for more information about the CSV export file content.
From the moment you have (partially) authorized an analysis, the configured CSV file will be automatically generated and ready to download.
This download can be done automatically via our download script (see How to setup the download script? for more information)
Or via a manual download from Archive - Analysis results. (Always available)
Your LIMS can cherry-pick from the CSV export file whichever information they would like to include. It is advised to import the overall result via the "Outcome" or the "AssayResult" column as this is a combination of individual target results generated via rules set up in the decision tree of the Assay Plugin.
In case your LIMS provider can not integrate the generic CSV file, don't hesitate to reach out to our support team to check other possibilities.
