General
The release of FastFinder Analysis 4.11, Lab management 1.11 and Workflow 2.1 contains new features that provide compatibility of FastFinder with sample-to-result solutions. In Analysis we extended the support for complex calculations in the assay logic and provided an option for automated plate setup for melt assays.
As always, it is feedback from you that informs our roadmap, and allows us to keep improving FastFinder, so we want to thank you for your continued suggestions. Don’t hesitate to let us know how we can improve FastFinder even further.
For the specific release notes for Lab management 1.11 and Workflow 2.1, see link.
Analysis 4.11.1 (April 04, 2023)
New features
The sample results in the Summary tab of an analysis will show immediately the total number of samples marked for retest, total of samples with at least one (not)detected assay result, at least one inconclusive and at least one invalid assay results. The total number of samples with an error or warning keeps being displayed as well. This will give you immediately a high-level overview of the results of the analysis.
The information of an authorized analysis has been expanded. Similar to an open analysis, a details tab is available with all target information. When comments were added to a well during previous steps in the workflow (including the analysis), they will be visible in the authorized analysis too.
When clicking on the assay name in the summary tab of an open or an authorized analysis, the displayed information has been expanded to show the used reference curves, standard curves, color compensation and link to the product specification sheet (PSS) or instructions for use (IFU), if available.
In case FastFinder Workflow has not been enabled, settings will be visible directly on the navigation screen. Furthermore, there will be no mention of the workflow name in the analysis overview.
As of now, it is possible to load files from a multi-instrument analysis, where different plates were ran on different instrument types.
Melt assays can now be automatically assigned, as well as amplification-melt assays. To use this functionality, all target instrument references within one and the same channel need to be the same. This can be configured in the PCR tab of each assay.
We have added the PrimeMDx instrument to the supported instruments for amplification assays.
Improvements
- Analysis details: ‘target’ column can no longer be hidden
- Add link to status page in support tab
- Change tooltip for auto-assign in PCR setup
- Previous results filter should be case-insensitive
- Enhance log - Show more detailed description when incompatible file is selected
- Parse EDS version 2.x with QuantStudio3
Fixed bugs
The following issues have been fixed in the Analysis 4.11 release:
- Custom export is not downloadable from the Analysis Archive when multiple files exist with the same filename
- Creating multiplate melt analysis PDF fails
- Grouping of SC results causes results to be hidden
